The National Museum Visit

Hello there!

Our college organized a visit to our National museum which is situated in Delhi. It was 16th of September — a day full of learning new things.

Me and four of my friends took our metro and the destination was like 45 min from near by our college metro station . So we went together all exited , what things we will get to see and other stuff as It was my first time to visit any nation museum.

So, we reached around 11:30 am.

We took the tickets and had to go through some normal checking module and after I entered the place. It was huge surrounded by plants , big sculptures of medieval times the museum was enormous. It had a big entrance gate and lots of security inside. We went there to see a textile display which was on the first floor . I went upstairs and let me tell you such big hallways and then I entered it suddenly felt like a different world, There were sarees, shawls, dupattas , rugs, wall art and many such mesmerizing clothes. It was really beautiful. There were three rooms and three sub rooms in which a various of work was displayed.

The one work that swept me away was a dupatta on which in which the whole story of ‘The Ramayana’ was painted with Kalam Kari, It was soo, soo ,soo precious that I understood each and every meaning of each block.

It was a wonderful experience visiting The National Museum, got to see soo much and learnt and observed different art forms and such big and famous artists under one roof.
